Maria was born on July 10th, 1785 at Křižánky č.67.1  Maria's father was Bonaventura Zástěra and her mother was Elisabeth Wesselá.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Zástěra and Therezie. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Pavel, M.., Anna, Josepha, Barbora, Elisabeta and Františka ?.  She was the oldest of the eight children.
