Pavel was born on May 13th, 1788 at Křižánky č.67.1  Pavel's father was Bonaventura Zástěra and his mother was Elisabeth Wesselá.  His paternal grandparents were Jan Zástěra and Therezie. He had a brother and six sisters, named M.., Maria, Anna, Josepha, Barbora, Elisabeta and Františka ?.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.
