Josefa was born about 1756.1   Josefa's father was Jan Zástěra and her mother was Therezie.  Her paternal grandparents were Václav Zástěra and Anna. She had a brother and a sister, named Bonaventura and Anna.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jan, Thomas, Thomas and Antonie.
