Jan was born on September 28th, 1745.1   Jan's father was Jan Zástěra and his mother was Johana Kubíková.  His paternal grandparents were Václav Zástěra and Anna. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas and Antonie.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Bonaventura, Josefa and Anna.  He died at 4 months old on February 23rd, 1746.1
