Harry was born in March 1886 in Illinois. Harry's father was John Revel Webb and his mother was Victoria Mary La Voise (Webb). His paternal grandparents were Francis Marion Webb and Emily Horsey (Webb). He had two brothers and two sisters, named Walter, Glenn, Ethel and Hazel. He was the oldest of the five children.
