Peter was born in 1662 in Sprang-Capelle and his baptism took place on April 23rd, 1662 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).1  Peter's father was Peter Teuniszn Timmers and his mother was Maycken Geerits Petersdr van der Hoeven.  His maternal grandparents were Gerrit Peterszn van der Hoeven and Thuentien Gerrits Antonisdr Smit. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Gerrit Peterszn, Arien, Jan Peterszn, Thonisken, Neeltgen, Thonisken, Ariaentien and Neeltjen.
