Ariaentien was born in 1655 in Sprang-Capelle and her baptism took place on September 12th, 1655 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).1   Her godmother was/is Claesken Vrancken. Ariaentien's father was Peter Teuniszn Timmers and her mother was Maycken Geerits Petersdr van der Hoeven.  Her maternal grandparents were Gerrit Peterszn van der Hoeven and Thuentien Gerrits Antonisdr Smit. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Gerrit Peterszn, Arien, Peter, Jan Peterszn, Thonisken, Neeltgen, Thonisken and Neeltjen.
