Antje was born on March 9th, 1808 in Nijkerk and her baptism took place there on March 16th, 1808.1  Antje's father was Sijpke Pieterszn Soveelen and her mother was Gerritje Buurman.  Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Pieterszn Soveelen and Ettjen Harkers; her maternal grandparents were Hendrik Jacobszn Buurman and Jannetje Meesen. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hendrik, Etje and Jannetje.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 81 on April 27th, 1889 in Ermelo.1
