Geertruij Dina was born in 1780 in Zaltbommel and her baptism took place there on October 5th, 1780.1  Geertruij Dina's father is Marcus Jacobus Schot and her mother was Jenneke van Oosterhout.  Her maternal grandparents were Cornelius van Oosterhout and Beertijen van Avesaat. She had a brother named Cornelis Gerardus.  She was the younger of the two children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gerhardus Johannes, Jan, Cornelis, Adrianus, Gijsbertus, Leendert and Helena.  She died at the age of 34 on June 9th, 1814 in Zaltbommel.2
