Jenneke was born in 1743 in Zaltbommel and her baptism took place there on December 17th, 1743.1  Jenneke's father was Cornelius van Oosterhout and her mother was Beertijen van Avesaat.  Her paternal grandparents are Cornelis van Oosterhout and Feijke Gerrits; her maternal grandparents are Adriaan van Avezaat and Jenneke Cornelisdr de Vries. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Adrianus, Cornelis, Sophia and Elisabet.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died before 1787.
