Janna was born in 1777 in Fijnaart en Heijningen and her baptism took place there on October 19th, 1777.1 2  Janna's father is Arij Gijsbertszn Schilperoort and her mother is Adriana Versluijs.  Her paternal grandfather was Gijsbert Gerritszn Schilperoort and her paternal grandmother is Cornelia Jansdr Rollaf; her maternal grandparents are Cornelis Versluijs and Catharina Coomans. She had a brother and five sisters, named Gijsbert Arijszn, Caatje, Cornelia, Cornelia Arijsdr, Pieternella and Neeltje Arijsdr.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 38 on December 22nd, 1815 in Fijnaart en Heijningen.1
