Cornelia was born in 1763 in Fijnaart en Heijningen and her baptism took place there on October 30th, 1763.1  Cornelia's father is Arij Gijsbertszn Schilperoort and her mother is Adriana Versluijs.  Her paternal grandfather was Gijsbert Gerritszn Schilperoort and her paternal grandmother is Cornelia Jansdr Rollaf; her maternal grandparents are Cornelis Versluijs and Catharina Coomans. She had a brother and five sisters, named Gijsbert Arijszn, Caatje, Cornelia Arijsdr, Pieternella, Neeltje Arijsdr and Janna.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died before August 5th, 1770.1
