Corstiaan was born on June 25th, 1786 in Andel and his baptism took place on June 25th, 1786 in Andel.1   His godmother was Anneke Cuup. Corstiaan's father was Zweer Roza and his mother was Cornelia Cuup.  His paternal grandparents were Cornelis Govertszn Roza and Trijntje Sweer Bouman. He had a brother and six sisters, named Cornelis Zweerszn, Trijntje, Adriaantje, Maria, Johanna, Helena and Cornelia.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 61 on August 11th, 1847 in Andel.2
