Cornelis Zweerszn was born on April 29th, 1789 in Andel and his baptism took place there on May 5th, 1789.1  Cornelis Zweerszn's father was Zweer Roza and his mother was Cornelia Cuup.  His paternal grandparents were Cornelis Govertszn Roza and Trijntje Sweer Bouman. He had a brother and six sisters, named Corstiaan, Trijntje, Adriaantje, Maria, Johanna, Helena and Cornelia.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 67 on May 2nd, 1856 in Andel.2
