Zweer was born in 1744 in Andel and his baptism took place there on April 5th, 1744.1 2   His godmother was Handerske Jacobsdr de Veerman. Zweer's father was Cornelis Govertszn Roza and his mother was Trijntje Sweer Bouman.  His paternal grandparents were Govaert Janszn Roza and Lijsbet Jansdr van Rijswijk; his maternal grandparents were Sweer Joostzn Bouman and Maria Dirksdr Vermeulen. He had six brothers and a sister, named Govert, Jan, Jacob, Peter, Klaas, Goovert Corneliszn and Maria.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 59 on December 30th, 1803 in Andel.2
