Janneke was born in 1731 in Genderen and her baptism took place there on October 7th, 1731.1  Janneke's father was Jan Dirkszn van den Heuvel and her mother was Sijke Willemsdr Versteeg.  Her maternal grandparents were Willem Versteghen and Ariaentje Govertsdr Hoevenaar. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Dirck, Willem Janszn, Dirk Janszn, Govert, Govert, Johanna, Maijke and Teuntje.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 31 on October 8th, 1762 in Genderen.1
