Jenneke was born on January 18th, 1799 in Driel and her baptism took place there on February 5th, 1797.1  Jenneke's father was Gradus van Heekesen and her mother was Jenneke de Gelder.  Her paternal grandfather is Matheus van Hekesen and her paternal grandmother was Allegonda van Erp; her maternal grandfather is Arnoldus de Gelder and her maternal grandmother was Cornelia van Keulen. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Mattheus, Arnoldus, Adrianus, Arnoldus, Ida, Allegonda and Pieternella.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 66 on April 27th, 1865 in Driel.1
