Allegonda was born on February 4th, 1797 in Driel and her baptism took place there on February 5th, 1797.1  Allegonda's father was Gradus van Heekesen and her mother was Jenneke de Gelder.  Her paternal grandfather is Matheus van Hekesen and her paternal grandmother was Allegonda van Erp; her maternal grandfather is Arnoldus de Gelder and her maternal grandmother was Cornelia van Keulen. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Mattheus, Arnoldus, Adrianus, Arnoldus, Ida, Jenneke and Pieternella.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 57 on April 17th, 1854 in Driel.1
