Willemke was born on July 24th, 1789 in Zuilichem and her baptism took place there on August 2nd, 1789.1 2  Willemke's father was Gijsbert Willemszn Hak and her mother was Anneke Wijburg.  Her paternal grandparents were Willem Hak and Maaike Blomhert. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Gijsbert, Gijsbert, Willem, Johannes, Maaijke, Meerke, Peterke, Petronella, Neeltje, Maria and Anneke.  She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Crijn Jacob, Mattijs, Peter Gijsbert, Neeltje, Maria, Gijsbertje, Hester and Kornelia.  She died at the age of 71 on October 12th, 1860 in Zuilichem.1
