Peter Gijsbert was born in 1825 in Zuilichem.1   Peter Gijsbert's father was Gijsbert Willemszn Hak and his mother was Anneke Hak.  His paternal grandparents were Willem Hak and Maaike Blomhert. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Crijn Jacob, Mattijs, Neeltje, Maria, Gijsbertje, Hester and Kornelia.  He was the youngest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Gijsbert, Gijsbert, Willem, Johannes, Maaijke, Meerke, Willemke, Peterke, Petronella, Neeltje, Maria and Anneke.  He died on October 17th, 1825 in Zuilichem.1
