Lijsbeth was born in August 1744 in Dussen and her baptism took place there on August 2nd, 1744.1   Her godmother was Feiken de Bock. Lijsbeth's father was Peeter van Giessen and her mother was Wouterken Maijke de Bock.  Her paternal grandparents were David Jacobszn van Giessen and Cornelia Petersdr van Gelder. She had four brothers and a sister, named Davidt, Antonij, Jan, Antonij and Maijken.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 88 on May 13th, 1833 in Dussen.2
