Huijbertie was born in 1645 and her baptism took place on September 28th, 1645 in Haaften.1   Her godfathers were Lambert Dircksen, Peter Aertsen and her godmother was Arike Rutgersdr. Huijbertie's father was Steven Alertszn Blomhert and her mother was Jenneken Huijbertsdr.  Her paternal grandfather was Alert Stevenszn Blomhert and her paternal grandmother is N.N. N.N.. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Alert Stevenszn, Huijbert, Gompert Stevenszn, Hilleken, Geertke, Huijbertken, Geertke, Anneken, Maria and Eelken.  She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
