Huijbertken was born in 1640 and her baptism took place on October 12th, 1640 in Haaften.1  Huijbertken's father was Steven Alertszn Blomhert and her mother was Jenneken Huijbertsdr.  Her paternal grandfather was Alert Stevenszn Blomhert and her paternal grandmother is N.N. N.N.. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Alert Stevenszn, Huijbert, Gompert Stevenszn, Hilleken, Geertke, Geertke, Huijbertie, Anneken, Maria and Eelken.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.
