Heesken Blomhert

Heesken was born in 1667 in Haaften and her baptism took place there on October 6th, 1667 conducted by Reverend Cornelius Glummerus.¹

Heesken's father was Gompert Egbertszn Blomhert and her mother was Maria Koenen. Her paternal grandparents were Egbert Janszn Blomhert and Heesken Gomperts N.N.. She had nine brothers named Egbert, Egbert, Egbert, Coenraedt Gompertszn, Philip Gompertszn, Johannes, Adrianus Gompert Egbertszn, Steven and Steven Gompertszn. She was the third oldest of the ten children.
