Rachel Nathan

Rachel was born on January 27th, 1865 at 11 Disrah. Rachel's father was Abraham Nathan and her mother was Katherine Lyons. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Nathan and Sarah Costa; her maternal grandparents were Henry Lyons and Rachel Mendes. She had three brothers and a sister, named Henry, Issac, Manny and Tilly. She was the oldest of the five children. She died about 1930.

General Notes
- Emigrated to USA at beginning of WW1 with husband and children.
  
  Daughter Annie could not go striaght to USA with parents/siblings when they emigrated as she was committed to WW1 special war duties and instead followed after the war.
  It was Annie who was the catalyst for Ray Berg's son Maurice to go to US when aged 23
