Amelia was born on October 14th, 1867 in Trowbridge, England. Amelia's father was James Henry Knowles and her mother was Amelia Mould Morrell. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Knowles and Ann (Annie); her maternal grandparents are Stephen Morrell and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and a sister, named Albert, Edward, Frank and Florence. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 70 in July 1938 in Providence, Providence, RI.General Notes
