Charlotte was born on December 18th, 1858.  Charlotte's father was George Whitehead and her mother was Charlotte Parkin.  Her paternal grandparents were George Whitehead and Anne Mary Unknown (Whitehead); her maternal grandparents were John Parkin and Elizabeth Howard. She had six brothers and five sisters, named George, George Stephen, John William, Frederick, Alfred Isaac, Sydney, Ann Mary, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Amelia and Cora Franciska.  She was the seventh oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 20 on March 15th, 1879.
