David was born in 1688 in Hawkhurst, England and his baptism took place on June 16th, 1688.  David's father was David Austen and his mother was Ann Unknown. He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Mary, Ann and Martha.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died on December 10th, 1688 in Hawkhurst, England.
