Ann was born in 1690 in Hawkhurst, England and her baptism took place on November 20th, 1690.  Ann's father was David Austen and her mother was Ann Unknown. She had two brothers and two sisters, named David, John, Mary and Martha.  She was the third oldest of the five children.
