Michael was born on July 31st, 1942 in London.1   Michael's father was William James Wright and his mother was Mary Ann (Rosetta) Rosetta Horncastle.  His maternal grandparents were William Alfred Horncastle and Elizabeth Sarah Sheldrake. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Ronald, Elizabeth and Linda.  He is the second youngest of the six children.
