Elizabeth was born on October 24th, 1931 in London.1   Elizabeth's father was William James Wright and her mother was Mary Ann (Rosetta) Rosetta Horncastle.  Her maternal grandparents were William Alfred Horncastle and Elizabeth Sarah Sheldrake. She had four brothers and a sister, named William, John, Ronald, Michael and Linda.  She is the oldest of the six children.
