Martha Wright

Martha was born in March 1851 in Thaxted, Essex.¹ Martha's father was James Wright and her mother was Ann Shead. Her paternal grandparents were John Wright and Mary Hockley. She had a brother and four sisters, named Joseph, Mary, Minnie, Lucy and Ada. She was the oldest of the six children.
