Angelina was born in March 1841 in Poplar, Middlesex.1   Angelina's father was William Philpot and her mother was Margaret Norman.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Norman and Mary Hogg. She had a brother and four sisters, named Charles, Cecilia, Emily, Elizabeth and Jessie.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 49 in December 1890 in Southampton, Hampshire.2
