Rosina Newton

Rosina was born in December 1848 in Southwark, Surrey.¹

Rosina's father was Alexander Gendall Newton and her mother was Marian Ponisi. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Newton and Elizabeth Gendall; her maternal grandparents were James Ponisi and Mary Newton. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, James, Robert, Mary, Julia, Julia, Clara, Clara and Julia. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
