John Jewett

John was born in March 1870 in Itchen Ferry, Hampshire.¹

John's father was Joseph Angel Jewett and his mother was Emma Parker. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Jewett and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Charles Parker and Ellenor Harris. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Joseph, William, Alfred, George, Henry, Emma, Alice, Mary and Harriet. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 73 in 1943 in 22 Florence Road, Southampton, Hampshire. He was buried on May 22nd, 1943 in St Mary Extra Cemetery H046 148.²²
