Charles William Jewett

Charles was born in September 1863 in Itchen Ferry, Hampshire.¹

Charles' father was Joseph Angel Jewett and his mother was Emma Parker. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Jewett and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Charles Parker and Ellenor Harris. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, William, John, Alfred, George, Henry, Emma, Alice, Mary and Harriet. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 in 1929 in 39 Obelisk Road, Woolston, Southampton, Hampshire. He was buried on November 5th, 1929 in St Mary Extra Cemetery C023 065.²²
