Joshua Emery

Joshua was born in 1831 in Bursledon, Hampshire.¹ Joshua's father was Joshua Emery and his mother was Ann Spencer. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Emery and Ann Collis; his maternal grandparents were Henry Spencer and Ann Carter. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Peter, Anne, Betsy and Sally. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 60 in June 1891 in Fareham, Hampshire.²
