Sarah was born on January 30th, 1891 in Blaby, Leicestershire.1  Sarah's father was George JAYES and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth HALLAS. She had six brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James, Herman, John, George, Oscar and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 39 on November 16th, 1930 in 52 College Street, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1
