Mathers Howie

Mathers was born in 1898 in bly. Mathers' father was George Mathews Howie and his mother was Ann Clark Readhead. His paternal grandparents were Robert Howie and Mary Anne Comb; his maternal grandparents were James Readhead and Ann ?. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Robert, George, Olive and Olive. He was the second youngest of the six children.
