ניסן צבי הירש was born on March 19th, 1895 in ירושלים.1   ניסן צבי הירש's father was אברהם ישראל מרדכי גליס and his mother was ברכה באשע אסתר סופר.  His paternal grandparents were יעקב המנקר גליס and אסתר מינדל פרס; his maternal grandparents were שמעון אליהו צבי סופר and חיה נחמה בת אברהם.  He had a brother and four sisters, named יעקב, רבקה מייטא, פייגע ליבא, ציפורה and שרה רחל - שרהל'ה.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 56 on March 20th, 1951 in ירושלים.
