Elizabeth was born in 1844 in Horsforth Yorkshire.1   Elizabeth's father was David Jackson and her mother was Mary Ann Rhodes.  Her paternal grandfather was David Jackson and her paternal grandmother is Ann Eastburn; her maternal grandfather is James Rhodes. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James, John, David, Samuel, Mary, Eliza, Mary A, Susannah and Sarah A.  She was the third oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 34 in 1878 in Horsforth Yorkshire.  Her burial was on June 11th, 1878 in Horsforth Yorkshire Plot O29.2 2
