William was born on January 13th, 1819 in Wivenhoe Essex England.1   William's father was Robert  Harvey and his mother was Ann Richardson.  His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Harvey and Mary  Hanson; his maternal grandparents are William Richardson and <Unknown>.  He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Thomas, Jonathan, Robert , Isaac, George, Susannah, Sarah and Mary .  He died at the age of 67 on January 26th, 1886 in Quay Wivenhoe Essex England.1
