Sarah was born in 1852 in Barking Essex.1   Sarah's father was William Simmans (shoemaker) and her mother was Hannah Cabburn.  Her paternal grandparents were William Simmans (LinenDraper) and Sarah Belchar; her maternal grandparents were William Cabburn (Excise Officer b Gt Marlow ?) and Elizabeth Cuff. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William, William, James, George, Thomas, Walter, Elizabeth, Sarah and Hannah.  She died about January 5th, 1938 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on January 7th, 1938 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  She was buried on January 7th, 1938 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.2
