Sarah was born about March 1st, 1770 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on March 25th, 1770 at St Margarets Barking.1 2   Sarah's father was Giles Belchar (Baker) and her mother was Elizabeth Mears.  Her paternal grandparents were Belchar and <Unknown>; her maternal grandfather was William Mears (Vintner of St Mary Whitechapel) and her maternal grandmother is Amy (Need to check). She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Joseph, James, Sarah, Amey and Eliza.  She died about November 30th, 1835 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on December 9th, 1835 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  She was buried on December 9th, 1835 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.3 3

Sarah and William were married in a religious ceremony on November 11th, 1788 at St Margaret's  Church Barking witnessed by John Cuff & June Taylor.  They had nine sons and four daughters, named William, William, Charles, John, William, Joseph, James, William, James, Elizabeth, Amy, Sarah and Sarah.
