Elizabeth, known as Lizzie, was born in 1857 in Barking Essex.1   Lizzie's father was Andrew Quash (Fisherman) and her mother was Charlotte Ship.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Quash (pos born Exeter) and Elizabeth Hall; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Ship (Blacksmith) and Mary Elizabeth Duffield. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Andrew, John, William, John, Alfred, Joseph, Albert, Mary, Alice and Kezia.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 52 on December 31st, 1909 in Grimsby.  The funeral took place in February 1909.  She was buried in February 1909 in Scartho Rd Cemetery Grimsby.2 3
