Death Register entry from General Registry Office, Dublin shows: James Gray, died 21st December 1898 at Cullyvenney, married, 70 years, labourer, of pneumonia after 8 days certified, Present at Death was James Gray, son, of Cullyvenney, who made his mark. A death notice appeared in the Coleraine Chronicle on 24th December 1898, giving his date of death as 22nd December! No other details were given in the death notice other than that he was from Cullyvenney.Birth Notes
Aged 66 in 1901 census and 80 in death entry at General Registry Office. Baptised in Macosquin Presbyterian Church on 4th Feb 1834. Gives her age as 73 in 1911 = Date of Birth of 1838!Death Notes
Aged 80 in death entry at General Registry Office - son, Robert Present at Death. She is described as being of the labouring class and died of senile decay. This makes her aged 18 at marriage and yet she gives herself as of Full age.

Gives his age as 53 in 1911 census = Date of Birth of 1858. This may be more accurate as it is post Old Age Pensions when you had to be 70 to get it.Death Notes
He may have died before 1919 when his tenancy of house 5Ac is ended BUT, Jim Gray remembers him when he "was at sabbath school" and Jim was not born til 1920. Perhaps he moved in with his brother, James Gray, next door in house 5Ad.

It seems to suggest that the entry in Macosquin Presbyterian Church is either an error or it IS a baptism not a birth.

This one must have died in infancy because another Margaret is recorded in Macosquin Presbyterian Church records as being born to the same couple in 1869. Death certificate found in Family History Centre, Derry, for a Margaret Ann Gray, died 21st April 1869, aged 9 weeks, Seamstress' daughter, Bronchitis for 2 weeks, Susan Robinson Present at Death. Not sure if this is her because of the strange PAD, the wrong townland and the age of 9 weeks instead of 9 months.Birth Notes

Barbara Braswell, using Family History Centre Death Index says, "Found the death of Hester Gray in 1872, aged 0. This was the year she was born. [11:334.]" Acquired death record from Dublin confirming same. She was 23 days old and died of bronchitis after a week's illness. Oddly, a Margaret Moony from Ballytagart was Present at Death.
