Rebecca was born in 1888. Rebecca's father was Orange Thomas Gordon and her mother was Mary Jane Gamble. Her paternal grandparents were James [1858-HillHead,Plot 38] Gordon and Mary Burnside; her maternal grandparents were David Gamble and <Unknown>. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, David, John, Robert, Thomas, David, Mary, Margaret, Isabella "Bella", Rachel and Martha. She was the youngest of the twelve children.General Notes
