Twenty ninth April 1869, Lislea, Mary Gordon, female, widow, 75 years, widow of farmer, Diarrhea, six months, certified. Present at Death, Robert Gordon, Lislea. Registered 13 May 1869. Joseph Clarke, MD, Registrar.
We are assuming Robert was her son-in-law (twice over!).

BG - Found this in the Old Age Pension/Census returns at my FHC:
30th Jan 1909; Vol 36; Film # 0258545; Same letter abot 1/4 way through film:
1841 Census; Robert Gordon; Robert Gordon; Ann Gordon; Lislea; Kilrea
1841 Census; Rachel Gordon; James Gordon; Mary Gordon; Lislea; Kilrea.
Since they are both in the same letter, one assumes they are husband and wife, looking for evidence that they were born early enough to be in the 1841 Census, so that they could claim the Old Age Pension having reached 70.
Maiden name from the baptism of James in 1839 and Martha in 1842.
