  Source: the will of his mother, Mary Coulter, who wrote this in her will on 18th November 1959:
  "John two shillings and sixpence and no more".

  NB - SPECULATIVE, I have made this man the one married to Catherine Carvill in Scotland.....because:
  He must have gone somewhere as he is not in local records.  The date was damn close - 1825 for 1824 (aged 46 in 1871 Census).  The key name Hugh.  BUT, now that one is more or less ruled out if Catherine's father was a Hugh.  But it is still defo a possibility.
