Samuel Carson's father was James [Ontario] Clements and his mother was Margaret McLelland.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel [1854-Altibrian;1865-Ballinrees;Dunalis-1868;1885-Ballystrone;] Clements and Jane [1854-Ballystrone;1897-Ballinteer] Finlay. He had a brother and two sisters, named John A, Emily Matilda and Alice Jane.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 70 on December 9th, 1953.
